Advika Raghuwamshi Devrai (previously Gowda)

The only daughter of the Raghuwamshi Devrai Family, who was swapped at birth.

She is the youngest child in the Gowda family.

Currently in Grade 10.

She is known for her cheerful and caring personality by all her friends. She is very talented.

She is cold and quiet at the Gowda house, speaking when only necessary as they never cared to listen to her anyways.

She is too mature for her age, having been ignored, and considered insignificant and a burden her whole life.

She is sharp, smart and is emotionally well-versed.

RAGHUWAMSHI DEVRAI FAMILY:

A very wealthy and old-money family built on generations of hardwork, they are the founding family of the Devrai Group - a conglomerate across India, which holds power in all sectors of economy and business.

They are a Kannada-Marathi old-money dynasty.

Raghavendra Devrai

The Chairman of Devrai Industries, he inherited the position from his uncle after proving his worth and showing interest in that particular field.

He is married to Anuradha Rao, whom he calls Anu with love, and has 7 sons with her. They have a very loving and romantic bond. They both were in grief for a long time after they became aware of their only daughter's death in infancy. They love all of their sons a lot.

He always wanted a daughter after having so many sons, he went through a lot of pain after losing his daughter.

He is a well-respected businessman across the world - known for his calculated and dignified personality.

He believes in pursuing passions and niches more than following legacy.

To his sons he is -- formally affectionate, values structure over sentiment, shows love through responsibility. He loves all of his sons, but there is a bridge of respect and superiority his sons feel towards him which he couldn't bridge yet. He is a bit emotionally distant towards his children but provides them with as much love and affection he can.

Anuradha Rao Devrai

Professor of Business Management and Operations, and Dean of Business Administration Department

She had a love marriage with Raghavendra, who she refers to as Raghu. She went through postpartum depression after the loss of her one and only daughter, the son who made it through became her hope.

She is a graceful, meticulous, emotionally intelligent woman who is revered in academic circuits due to her knowledge and depth.

Towards her sons she is nurturing but guarded; encourages debate and curiosity. She has always been affectionate to her sons but also has been as strict to them.

Nikhil Raghuwamshi Devrai (29)

The eldest child and heir of the Raghuwamshi Devrai Family. Nickname - Niki

He is living his dream as the COO of Devrai Real Estate and Industries; after finishing his UG from London School of Business and PG from Harvard Business School, with full honours.

He is known for his calm and composed demeanor to the world, a prodigy in business he is in the top of Forbes 30 under 30 since the past 3 years.

At home he is calmly affectionate, he loves his brothers a LOT. Always makes sure that he each of his brothers is taken care of.

Abhinav Raghuwamshi Devrai (28)

Older twin brother of Adithya (non-identical twins), he is the second child of the Raghuwamshi Devrai Family. Nickname - Abhi.

He is a CA and Head of Finance at Devrai Real Estate and Steels; after having done his education from Columbia Economics and Cambridge.

He is a very private person, known for his cold but disciplined demeanor by his colleagues. He keeps to himself mostly. He became quiet after losing his sister, and doesn't let anyone get close to him other than his brothers.

He melts his exterior only around his family and is closest to Vedant. He loves to sing and is an amazing guitarist, he uploads covers online under the alias NaVxMusic.

Aditya Raghuwamshi Devrai (28)

He is the younger twin brother of Abhinav, and the third child of the Raghuwamshi Devrai family. Nickname - Adi.

He handles the Media and PR at Devrai Group Companies. He studied at NYU Tisch and King's College London.

He is the complete opposite of his twin brother. He is messy, chaotic and fun-loving but he is as responsible too. But he also often masks his emotions behind his personality.

He loves to annoy his elder siblings, and tease and spoil his younger ones.

Vikas Raghuwamshi Devrai (26)

The middle child of the Devrai Raghuwamshi Family. Nickname - Vikki.

He did his MBBS in AIIMS with full merit, and currently is doing his final year of PG and specialization. He decided to become a doctor when he lost his sister, saying that 'he never wanted another family to go through the pain of losing their child.'

He is the nicest and the most understanding person in the family. Calm, collected and caring - all his brothers turn to him for anything. But as nice as he looks, he can be a thousand times as deadly if anyone does any harm to him or his family.

Vedant Raghuwamshi Devrai (21)

Fifth Child of the Raghuwamshi Devrai family, and fifth child. Nickname - Ved/Vedu.

He is currently doing his degree in architecture at UCL London.

A very artistic and indie person, and loves his brothers more than anything in the world. He is a literal a chocolate boy.

He is the quietest but the most charming of them all. One smile of his can melt a person. But he is often left lonely for his quiet personality.

Tejas Raghuwamshi Devrai (16)

Second youngest son of the family, sixth child. Nickname - Tej/Teju.

He doesn't know about Advika.

Doing his 11th grade in Commerce - Accountancy, Business Studies, Psychology and Legal Studies. He is a very proficient debater and MUN delegate, having won countless awards for it. He wants to pursue Law

He also runs his own youth initiative, for helping poor gain employment through a fashion business which also supports small artisans, called StyleCase along with a few of his friends.

He is a very diplomatic person, but he is bad-boy coded too. He is polite but distant to unknown people. He is cold, sharp and cruel, only to anyone who hurts his family.

He loves biking along with Aditya and Abhinav.

Advik Raghuwamshi Devrai (15)

The youngest son of the Raghuwamshi Devrai Family. Nickname - Vikku. He is the younger twin brother of Advika.

An exceptional cricket player who rose to state level at the age of 15, he is known for his performance across the state. He is also weirdly good at coding and cyber stuff – a hobby he picked up in lockdown and unexpectedly excelled in it.

He is the sunshine-kid of the family. Everyone loves him, teasing him is their love language. He always felt incomplete on his birthday, like something was missing but he didn't ever know what it was.

He does not know that he had a twin sister.

The Gowda Family: The family Advika stayed with unknowing that she wasn't their child, all these years.

Rajesh Gowda:

The biological father of Amrita and adoptive father to Advika.

Electrical parts supplier. Village-to-city background.

Married to Uma. He is in constant fights with Uma – which takes a toll on Amrita and Advika's mental health. Hates Uma's family and their greediness.

Appears to be closest to Advika, but he is also the one who hurts her the most.

Constantly tells Advika to adjust so Amrita doesn't lash out. Always rants to Advika about the injustices of his life, about Uma and her family, about Amrita being unreasonable.

Uma Gowda:

Rajesh's wife, Amrita's biological mother and Advika's adoptive mother. She is Ranga's sister.

She married Rajesh because he promised her education, that he would help her achieve her dream of becoming a doctor – but that never happened.

She has been living with immense regret for the past 25 years. She constantly trauma dumps on Advika and also is constantly fighting with Rajesh about it – which affects Amrita's upbringing causing her to be unstable.

She is a spendthrift. Gives her brother money even though she knows he will never return it back.

Amrita Rajesh Gowda (21)

Rajesh and Uma's biological daughter, Advika's non-biological sister.

She was raised in an extremely troubled environment – without care, concern or affection, causing her to be mentally unstable now having constant unnecessary lash outs.

She repeated her boards but did worse in her second attempt, changed universities thrice – for the sake of convenience, and because they didn't follow her way.

She thinks that Advika snatched her position as elder daughter, and resents Advika for being raised differently.

Gets angry and agitated at the smallest of things, and constantly lashes out at the family regardless of where they are.

Ranganath 'Ranga' Kumar

Uma's brother who switched Advika at birth.

He was a member of the rival gang of Devrai's and saw the opportunity to make sure they would suffer with that, and also to gain the affinity of his leader to get himself a better position.

A drunkard and a very irresponsible person, he lives off his parents and sisters money.

A/N : Hello yallz - I'mso excited for this storyy!!!

I'm sorry for no relevant pics for the brothers, it has a reason - the setting of this story is in Bengaluru and the story will be in a mix of Kannada and English so I wanted to keep kannada actors here but I did not find anyone suitable yet.
